A. J. Rice, a PhD student studying African American and African Studies (AAAS) at Michigan State University (MSU) was interviewed by Liz Timbs on June 29, 2017. The following video accounts his undergraduate career studying International Relations at James Madison College (JMC). With his insights into students, faculty, curricula, and the administration, he describes his demands for structural changes regarding JMC and AAAS.
