A. J. Rice, a PhD student studying African American and African Studies (AAAS) at Michigan State University (MSU) was interviewed by Liz Timbs on June 29, 2017. The following video accounts his undergraduate career studying International Relations at James Madison College (JMC). With his insights into students, faculty, curricula, and the administration, he describes his demands for structural changes regarding JMC and AAAS.

On January 22, 2018, Glynda Moorer was interviewed by Mileena McDonald. Glynda Moorer is the MD Director of Student Health for Michigan State University. Since the 1970s, she illustrates her time in undergraduate school, medical school, and working within student services. She highlights some of the major health issues, preventative measures, and health programs within MSU.
Dr. Joe T. Darden interview, 2017
On November 7, 2017, Joe T. Darden was interviewed by Mileena McDonald. He is a Geography professor and author at Michigan State University. From his arrival in 1972, he describes his work in Urban Affairs and his three books, Afro-Americans in Pittsburgh: the Residential Segregation of a People,Detroit Race Riots: Racial Conflict, an Effort to Bridge Racial Divide, and Detroit after Bankruptcy. Also, he analyzes social issues from a historical and contemporary standpoint.
